Columbus’ oldest vegetarian restaurant was established in Clintonville in 1978. It weathered the meat-heavy eighties and nineties and purveys to this day handmade vegetarian comestibles that will sate even the most ardent of carnivores. The Black Bean Nachos ($6.95) were particularly satisfying, since they were smothered in a little of everything that your vegetarian friends say they eat instead of meat. After a plate of Whole World’s nachos, we believe our vegi-friends when they tell us they don’t miss meat.
